OOOD's live shows come to life adding drums, percussion, guitar and psychedelia. A live band from their inception, OOOD have been performing live since they formed in 1994. Their first performance in London (Otherworld) was described in Dream Creation Magazine as “bang on, with a distinct power & quality”. On the UK party circuit their performances include live sets at Glade, Sunrise, Waveform, Wickerman, Beat Herder, Synergy Project, Tribe of Frog, Strange Daze, Otherworld, Return to the Source, Escape from Samsara and Pagan.
OOOD's first release was on Phantasm Records (1996); they subsequently released one of Flying Rhinos biggest selling tracks ‘Fluorostani Transcendance’ under the Unconscious Collective name, which is now their chillout/downbeat project.
With four people on stage and musicianship of all kinds very much in evidence the show delivers originality and a broad range of style. OOOD have performed live all over the world from New York, Japan, South Africa, Israel, UK and many parts of Europe. Previous events have included Fusion Festival (Germany), Hidden Gate Festival (Japan), Life Festival (Ireland) and Vortex/Prism (South Africa).
Djing – Colin has been Djing extensively, playing sets consisting mostly of his own projects and collaborations, and Steve, Ryo and Rama DJ at clubs and festivals all over the world playing mainly other artists' tunes interspersed with their own projects. All four DJs have a love of all types of psychedelic music and can be found rocking any room/stage from chill out and progressive to full on banging mayhem depending on the booking.
